It is with deep regret that I make this announcement. As of July 1st, 2014, new FCC regulations kicked in regarding closed captioning for all television stations. Which means all programs must be aired in closed captioning. Due to cost's that are associated with this new regulation, we will no longer be airing our broadcast on the CW Station in Bluefield, WV. Our last broadcast was Sunday, June 29th. I have kept my integrity by not taking our broadcast for the last 10 years, and using most of our 28 1/2 minutes asking for donations and offerings. We have used all of our minutes to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I'm not about to start now just asking for money. We also could have asked for an exemption from the FCC, and I looked over the application, but they insist I seek sponsorship from business's to pay for the closed captioning. I DO NOT BELIEVE, the Gospel should be For Sale!!
I refuse to seek business's to pay for the Gospel in exchange for advertisement. I will keep my integrity as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To much of the so called Ministries have turned into Industry, and I refuse to be a part of the game.
I have preached for years the day would come when the government would do what they could to silence religious broadcast's, and now we are seeing the beginnings of this endeavor.
I want to thank all of those who have prayed for, supported and watched our broadcast weekly for the last 10 years. I want to thank those who helped in any way.
